The beginning of year 2020 opened with floods in several areas in Greater Jakarta, where numerous points of high-impact areas were located in Jakarta and Bekasi areas. BNPB recorded as many as 92,261 people evacuated and 60 people died, were spread across Jakarta, Bekasi, Bogor, Depok, to Tangerang. Seeing this incident, BP GROUP represents 4 companies, namely PT. MULTI VISCOMINDO, PT. MULTIYASA SWADAYA, PT. INTERCELL MITRA SANTIKA, and PT. INTERSENTRAL NUGRAHA took concrete action by channeling CSR to the people whom houses located near the Cikeas and Cileungsi River got the worst flood conditions, with flood heights reaching more than five meters. BP Group’s CSR team consisting of General Managers, Managers and staff are involved by going directly to the location to distribute aid to affected communities. Through this contribution, BP Group hopes to ease the burden on the flood-affected communities and hope that post-flood conditions can soon return to normal.
