We all know that it is important to have the right material for the job. And it is also very important to store the material properly in order to have it in good condition. Each RITRAMA Self Adhesive film series<\/b><\/strong> comes with a guaranteed shelf life provided that customer maintain certain storage conditions, with focus on four important elements that could affect media storage: Temperature, Water and Humidity, Pressure, and Inventory Management<\/b><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

By following a few simple steps, you can avoid wastage and keep your vinyl in pristine condition, ready for the next project.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
1. ESTABLISH IDEAL TEMPERATURE<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Set the storage conditions to a temperature of 15o<\/sup>C to 25o<\/sup>C and relative humidity 40% to 60%. Any hotter or more humid and the adhesion will lessen. Printing defects can also occur with a storage temperature above the recommendation<\/span><\/td>\n

\"\"<\/span><\/td>\nAvoid storing rolls in areas with high exposure to sudden change in temperature. (E.g.: areas exposed to outdoor contaminants, near open doors, boilers, heaters)<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
2. WATER AND HUMIDITY <\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Avoid excessive humidity or direct moisture contact to the rolls such as concrete floors or exterior walls. As it will damage the release liner resulting in waviness along the edge of the vinyl.<\/span><\/td>\n

\"\"<\/span><\/td>\n3. AVOID SURFACE PRESSURE<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The rolls must be stored in their original packing and kept in a vertical position (consider using customized portable rack) or should be hung on a specially installed roll holders.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

4. INVENTORY MANAGEMENT<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Maintain FIFO (First in First Out)<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong>by clearly label your vinyl rolls and take the time to note the remaining length. It will help the inventory and allows you to quickly identify the rolls needed for particular job.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n
